I think I just broke my all time record of blog updating speed, wow, I must have ran out of things to do. The inter-class bowling competition is now long over though it's just been 24 hours. It was fun watching my ball slide in the opposite way I meant it to, feeling the ball suddenly slip off my hand too soon and the best part was seeing my ball roll down the ditch, whee... No more talk about that, it's all over now, finally. Haha.
The finals for the Golden Mic competition was held at the school hall today. Too bad I didn't get to watch it one bit, or maybe it's not a bad thing, hmmm. Most of my friends told me it was so boring and everyone was falling asleep, haha, more like the Golden Lullaby instead of Golden Mic. Well, tomorrow's the Tshung Tsin Star finals. I don't have band practice on Tuesdays so I guess I'm gonna be stuck in the hall with everyone else. Just hope that it's not as bad as last year... *nightmares* I remember that I was hanging around the classroom when the competition was going on last year, didn't exactly figure out how I was able to do that with a group of friends... But I did went to the hall for about 20 minutes and saw 2 shows which made me leave, at top notch speed. Haha
One fine Sunday afternoon (it was yesterday and it's actually not fine at all, it was hot and humid), I got really bored, like really extremely over-the-top pure boredom bored. I was just sitting at home after the bowling competition, the Internet was down (AGAIN) so I was friend-less and Internet-less (as in web-less, hahaha, okayy, that was a terrible pun). Thank goodness I have one last book (WHAT, the last one?!), 'Outside Beauty' by Cynthia Kadohata, so I finished it in the afternoon. It's generally a book of mixed emotions, some parts just made me mad and some were pretty touching, but not tear-jerking kind of touching... Well, off to find 'The Time Traveler's Wife' that doesn't have a glossy cover. Haha.

Wow. Congrats on finishing all the books on your bookshelf!!! =D I wonder when I'll be able to do that.
Sigh.. Finding a book which doesn't have the movie-poster cover is hard. But I always like to get the original cover. =D That is why I haven't gotten Inkheart yet. Hehe.
I thought TTStar is good. I thought last year's one was very entertaining. Haha. It wasn't all that good, but still entertaining. Haha. Entertaining as in funny and amusing to see how people have to guts to go up there and put on a not-so-good performance. Haha.
Haha, thanks. Now I'm bored to bits trying to find something to do. I go to school so often that my friend says it's my second home, I even 'lived' there last week. Haha.
I don't like those movie-poster covers, it feels like they get old or outdated or something like that. It sort of 'dates' the book, hahaha, hard to describe. Original covers are always the best to get.
This year I actually got to watch TTStar (I didn't watch it last year). In my opinion, the singles competition was really boring. Everyone was singing slow ballads and sad break-up songs... Well, some guy had the guts to dress like Jolin and dance on stage. Though it was mostly traumatizing, I still sorta admire his courage to actually do that. Hahaha.
Wow.. That is kind of sad to go to school so often. But I think that it's not bad. As long as you are going somewhere and meeting people rather than doing nothing at home. Like me.
Hahahaha. I wish I could have seen that! It's those kind of performances that are worth watching. On these small, unimportant shows, it's these performances I want to watch, not those with actual good singers. Haha. Man.. I wish I could have been there!
Well, to me it's still better than having to go everyday. I guess time passes quicker when you're doing something. Haha, you should go out more often maybe? Hahaha
If you're more of the critic type, you could be laughing your guts off watching those shows. Haha, it's these shows that you would remember the most instead of performances by actual singers in my opinion. It would be great if you could have been here watching it! It's like a once in a lifetime experience, it's different every year, haha.
Exactly!!!! Haha. Last year it was great fun being the *cough* 'critic type'.
Well.. The public transport tickets are not that cheap here. So it's not that convenient. So yea. But there's not many places to go here. Movie tickets here are about RM35? About there. Rip off!!! But we had free ticket vouchers which we used for New Moon. Haha.
Oh and I saw the Time Traveler's Wife book cover just now when I was out. Glossy!! It looked horrible! =P
At least you've got decent public transportation there. Ugh... most of the public transportation here is revolting, with those weird people who call out/ talk to you for no apparent reason as if they know you... Weird people...
Glossy covers stain easily and they just look downright ugly, hahaha. Still no luck finding other covers for that book here...
