3 wishes?

Ever felt used?
Woah.

Happy birthday to Joshua!
You are now one step closer to heaven
Or probably already there since you forgot how to breathe

99 ways

The poem says that children have 99 languages, 99 kinds of happiness, 99 ways of thinking, 99 ways of listening, but I know there's only 1 way to answer that question. Unfortunately, I do things differently, thus, I can't answer that question. In conclusion, I shall flunk my Chinese exam, or should I say, I flunked my Chinese exam. Period.

Now I've got a day to learn to read and write ideogram, pictograph, cuneiform and hieroglyph because Sejarah's gonna test me on that. Epic. Okay, that's not gonna be on the exam but it's similar, well not really. But you get the picture.

God is grrrrreat!

Thanks for making me believe :)

I went to church yesterday and there was this really funny priest. His Chinese isn't really good and he kept pausing during the mass. He had to speak a little English when he was preaching too, haha. Somehow he's from somewhere else and it's his first time conducting a mass in that church. Well, he's nice and funny, haha.

So, God bless you! Especially Joshua ;)

How to be a math genius in 4 days

First, learn to do addition and subtraction

Second, memorize the times table

Third, do division

Fourth, go cry in the corner because all the steps above WILL NOT make you a math genius in 4 days

Math exam in 4 days! S.O.S!

Take a right turn to the right way

I just met my opponent today and I'm just gonna call her Hello Kitty girl because she was carrying this HUGE Hello Kitty head bag, as in the bag is Hello Kitty head shaped. She kinda freaked me out because I've never seen anyone dress like that and is 17, and she had a pair of huge staring eyes. Haha, okay, she was only almost my opponent, had I decided to take the same path as her. But I didn't because Hello Kitty girl is rich and I'm not, so yeah.

I think my persona just upgraded today, somehow... Haha.

The second star to the right
Shines in the night for you
To tell you that the dreams you plan
Really can come true

p.s. Peter Pan is awesome! =)

Tamadun Hwang Ho

I've been staring at that Tamadun Hwang Ho title for like, an hour or so now. Don't feel like studying it but still... Darn SPM! Countdown: 15 days to SPM mock, 15 days to failing, 15 days to an unemployed future, hah. I should get back to studying, I should get back to studying, I should get back to studying. I'll come back if I survive Tamadun Hwang Ho!

200 or 2000 miles away?

Pinky toe - Pinky in toe form ;)

I went to core today and I gotta say: Macam tiada. Running alone is boring, seriously boring, horribly boring and gah, bore me to my bones (what...). Burnt some calories and went to eat, like what... And then went on that bike thing for ten minutes and barely even sweat. In conclusion, I didn't do anything helpful at all. Well, at least now I know 200 calories is a lot, really A LOT.

Sabina talked about having a J3 Zhong reunion when we're thirty five, cool, haha. It would be so fun to see what would happen to everyone at that time, and to know under which bridge I would be living in and which of Joshua's factory I'm gonna be working in and how many children someone's gonna have and hahahaha. Oh, and I'm gonna win the bet, definitely, period.

Hmmmm, it's not about finding the perfect one, but the one perfect for you, right? Grrrr....

Nothing. Everything.

  Big difference? Not really.

So, everything is going on, nothing is going on, sigh. I am supposedly studying now and supposedly not going to touch the computer for a week, but then I MUST CHECK MY EMAIL or I'll die. Seriously, okay, that was a lie, but still it's important =D. Probably waiting for an email of rejection from some college, but then, hmmm, I don't think they'd send those out. They wouldn't even tell you you're rejected, but then... Hmmm...

My holiday is ending! Not that I had much of a holiday. Well, it was fun (more like wasting time) while it lasted. Blabber, blabber, blabber.

I guess I'm gonna take the road less taken? Paranoid, again. Grr.

p.s. I'm going to stay off the computer for the week! I hope...

That procrastination book that I read didn't help one bit... Inefficient book!

A day without sunshine is like, you know, night

It's the 100th post!

It's two times better than my 50th post
One hundred times better than my first post
But the best is yet to come, haha

Definition of luck (look up) =)

Word of the day - Loquacious

Today was a loquacious day. Loquacious is a bombastic word for talkative, which we were today. Haha

Cynthia Kadohata is now officially awesome. She can seriously write really well. I just finished reading Kira-kira which she wrote and won the Newbery Medal in some year. Hmmmm, two words, two words just turned the whole storyline around.

The Boy In The Striped Pajamas! I seriously want to read that book! I've been searching for it for ages and... nadda, nadda, nadda. Grrr, must find it...

I need book wrappers, tons of books gathering dust in random corners of my study room. And that vunderboy book, I mean 'We Are All Made of Glue' book, vunderboy is some cat in the book which is kinda creepy, that needs desperate wrapping.

On another note, Sabina says I am obsessed with fatness and losing weight and all things related to it. The truth is, I AM NOT. I am not obsessed, I just think highly of it, very highly. Besides, I am fat anyway, of course it matters. It matters very much.

Hmmm, what sort of trouble, I mean situation, have I gotten myself into eh? I agreed to help a friend do something important and now his grades depend on me, hahaha. Oh yeah, Joshua showed me his weird wishlist thing which specifically told him to write three wishes but he only wrote one as he states that it his 'biggest and only wish'. By the way, his wish is to have more Mighty Beanz. You might say that it's childish but it's not, because he says that he's just fun-loving (what... haha). Wonder what Sabina wrote... haha. =)

Wink!

Winking is all the rage now, well not really. You know you shouldn't wink too much, or you'd look like you're having a spasm or twitching or just trying too hard, haha.

Blackmail, blackmail, blackity black blackmail, blackmail is so not my thing. Grr... Evil diabolical blackmailers! *tsk tsk tsk* You know who you are, haha =)

Feel the awe!

It all started with an awesome dream, followed by an awesome adventure then an awesome ending and an awesome party! Haha, feel the awe!

The Singapore trip was the best EVER! (Haha, thought it was soo long ago, like a month ago...) With all the sugarbunny drama (sort of, haha) and cup noodles for breakfast and dinner and little children, little cute and adorable children going to school via the causeway and the epic twins and the delays and people who freak me out by not knowing how to cross the road and walking right in front of a car, almost actually, and toilets that actually work and overpriced nice food and the COMPETITION and WATCHING THE COMPETITION! And Raffles Girls School! Awesome!

Gah!

So, with the trip done and all, of course there'd be an after party! Haha. I went to Sutera last Saturday for the celebrating dinner thing thingy. Hmmm, food was pretty good I guess. But of all things that could happen, the power went out as usual, haha. And everyone got bored and starting infesting, as some people would put it, some sick person claiming he's hot, the Marina Clubhouse place place thing. Power came back on soon and I went turtle/fish/water watching, which was not really exciting but still, haha.

And to end all this awesomeness is the horrible SPM exams! 94 days! I think...

Esplanade (es-pla-na-de)

Okay, I'm getting nervous, real nervous. 12.40am, I'm leaving in like, 7 hours. I'm totally panicking, I couldn't eat the whole day and I only had lunch. Lunch was 10 hours ago. If only my appetite was like this every day, I bet I'd get really thin and not fat and maybe eventually turn to a pile of dust, yay me.

I really should be getting to bed but somehow I feel like I'm forgetting something, something important (?). I'm gonna go take over the world for Awesomasia! I mean, a small part of the world, a really really small, clean, chewing-gum-free part of the world... So yeah, I can't really think of anything good to write about and I also can think of writing anything good, gooooodnight world then.

I'll miss everyone, uhh, I lied. It's just 7 days okay.

Learn to pack in 3 easy steps

Step 1: Prepare all your items to bring, and I mean ALL

Step 2: Put items into your luggage, wait, by 'put' I mean 'stuff', stuff everything inside

Step 3: Close your luggage. Caution: You might have trouble closing your luggage. This can be solves by sitting/stepping/standing/lying down on top of your luggage and zipping it up. Side-effects may vary.

Congratulations! You have successfully completed the 3 steps for packing! You are now an official packing master! *clap clap clap*

Today I'm going to rap about a hard life, because my life is hard, like a rock

Got your attention didn't I? Haha. I ain't gonna rap, not in this lifetime, or the next and the next and any lifetimes to come.

Yesterday was the craziest day ever, in band I mean. We were going from Magellan to STTSS new campus and back to Magellan again, like crazyy. The new campus is totally like a desert. A desert that has the best desserts! After doing whatever we gotta do, there was cake and food. And it was awesome, I didn't even know they'd serve food that good. But then, out of plates, had to scavenge off share someone else's plate, darn. The school's kinda pretty, reminds me of either an office, or a rehabilitation center with the lack of windows.

There are too much coincidences in life =)

Honey and Clover

How unfortunate. I was cooking just now and the extremely hot and boiling and high heat capacity cooking oil suddenly exploded! *gasp* Nah... It didn't explode literally, I would have died. Well, it just splashed out suddenly and my poor finger, my poor poor finger now has a humongous patch of grossness. But then, it's not really humongous, I just said that for the dramatic effect. It's just pretty much the size of an island, a really really really small uninhabitable island that looks like a mosquito bite. Terrible, it burns! And it's gross!

On the bright side, Tshung Tsin Night(s) is finally over! It's such a waste of time bother to perform just one song and have the whole situation turn into something like moving day. I didn't watch it this year, not one bit, not that I want to. I heard everyone said that it's boring but whatever. Tomorrow, I mean today, is going to be another super extremely exhausting day. Gosh, it's 12.30am already! I should get to bed, goodnight world.

Obsessive-compulsive-not

It is official (according to me), that I am constant fatness positive, which means I suffer from constant fatness! Nightmare! And no, I am so not obsessed with my weight, I repeat, I am not. And I don't have any eating disorders, probably just some overeating disorders I guess. But still, I'm like, getting fatter with each passing second and minute and hour and day. I don't care, I must go workout or something! I've got six pack flab and flab over my flab and uhh, you get the picture.

Well, now it's down to 3 days and 23 hours and 34 minutes and 23 seconds. Work hard, play hard, pray even harder.

And there's no mountain too high, no river too wide
Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side

Jump for joy and fall in despair

4 DAYS??!! Oh wait, it's 4 days and 23 hours and 35 minutes and 32 seconds. I'll just assume it's 5 days.

Guess what? I'm not chosen for national service! (most likely, unless the government are liars). Whee!

Ignorance is your new best friend

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
-Robert Frost-

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

That's the greatest poem ever, so far I guess.

The list for the national service just came out today, or so I was told. It was like the world completely changed without me, creepy. I was taking a nap and when I woke up I was bombarded with messages about the annoying crappy and time wasting national service thing thing thingy. That was utterly shocking, coming out of the blue like that. I hope and pray and beg and wish and pray and hope and pray and hope that I'm not one of the unfortunate. Sigh sigh sigh... The government is totally ignoring me! I sent out the message to check for like, 3 times and they completely ignored me. You cannot ignore me! I paid your overpriced rip-off payment to check!

Okay, I think I'm suffering from some sort of temporary anxiety disorder. I can't think straight and I feel paranoid and nervous. Gah! For once, I admit I am a paranoid at heart but I prefer to be referred to as panicking without specific reason and/or because of irrational reasons. Maybe I am paranoid but then, the world is just too calm, way too calm.

By the way, Sabina and Joshua are creepy and diabolical, you guys are starting to scare me with your blackmailing ways... Haha. Awesomasia needs doctors! I need a doctor to diagnose me with some fatal disease like severe death or curable cancer or allergic to air or something like that. Right, I shall now get back to freaking out and panicking about Esplanade!

I AM YOU

I am you or I am not you? That is a question I'd rather not answer.

Finally, I decided to work on my procrastination problem or as my guide would call it, a non issue. So, I got this terrible motivating book that is trying to brainwash me into thinking I'm not a loser help me deal with my 'non issue'. Well, it's not going so well, it's going badly actually. I read the book till chapter 2 and I just can't bear to read no more. It was pretty interesting in the beginning but then it's really hard to follow. It's like, telling me that procrastination has it's cons, though I strongly disagree but whatever. Just because PROcrastination is spelled with a pro, does not make it a good thing and also does not give it pros. I don't believe you, you motivational book!! You're a liar!! Liar, liar, pages on fire!

Panic! at the bandroom

Now it's down to 8, 8, 8, magical 8. It's scary and exciting at the same time, just great.

Sigh, the road less taken, or the road expected to take (?)

The Ugly Barnacle

Once, there was an ugly barnacle. He was so ugly that everyone died. The End.

iWumbo, everyone is using it. =)

The Final Countdown *cue dramatic music*

13, 13, 13, 13, 13! 13's my lucky number or it could be my extremely-bombastically-unlucky number. But still, 13, 13, 13 and 13... Anticipation and nervousness all balled up into one big blob, cool huh.

p.s. To Joshua and Sabina, 158 is not that significant anymore, 13 is way better, haha

On another totally unrelated note,

Paper airplanes

Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now

That part of the song is, in my opinion, the only good part of the song. I'm just not a big fan of rap, it's just like talking fast and with rhythm, not the best kind of music in my mind.

It's been raining the whole afternoon, I've been sneezing the whole afternoon too, can't feel my nose no more. Okay, I guess I don't have anything to write about so... Goodnight world, again.

Oh yeah, Clarinet section's essay thing (I don't know what's it called okay) were not bad, aww =)

Of the forgetful and the forgotten

This Is It, it's June 25th. The 1st anniversary of Michael Jackson's passing.

Rest In Peace Michael
'No One Can Ever Fill His Shoes'

Light a candle for him, or in my case, a few candles, from a friend and I.

Now, go turn on your television and watch 'This Is It' or just commemorate him in your own way. Or don't if you're a really sad, miserable person. Goodnight world.

And miles to go before I sleep

Comfort is having a warm bowl of soup when it's cold. But in most circumstances, that warm bowl of soup is not available and I'd have to seek comfort in someone else's cold words. The point is, the world does not have enough warm bowls of soup.

I finally finished most of my 1st semester homeworks, though I didn't get marks for some. the 2nd semester is here and after 16 (no kidding) dismal years of procrastination,  I have finally received enough of its full-blown dreaded side-effects. So I guess I'm just saying that I've had enough of procrastinating and I'm gonna stop it ONCE AND FOR ALL. They say procrastinating is a bad habit which kind of explains why it's so hard to get rid of. But I must get rid of it, before I fail and die or die failing or whatever. So fellow Awesomasians, I now declare procrastinating illegal though I haven't consulted the rest of the cabinet but procrastinating is going to be banned one way or another. And Awesomasia shall no longer be a procrastiNATION. =)

Tomorrow's June 25th, the 1st anniversary of Michael Jackson's passing. God bless him and all the people who loves him. I heard the other half of the world is going to have stuff going on except here. As what catholics would do, I'd light a candle, because we love candles and candles can be used for practically any occasion. The girl is dangerous, if only he knew what I knew

And smiles to go before I weep
And smiles to go before I weep - 'Smiles to Go'

June Juney Juley July

The days go on and on
And it gets worse and worse
The poor go on living
The rich continue bragging
Sigh, what's there to compare
With someone who has nothing?

So yeah, I've got nothing to say but, DISAPPOINTMENT. Goodnight world.

Misery, now comes in paper form, lightweight and easy to carry around with.
Guarantees instant misery and depression wherever and whenever.

It's water from the sky!

How long have I been off? A very long time apparently. I went jogging yesterday and I think I've lost it! My energy I mean, I couldn't even run for 2 rounds without dying. Too bad for Joshua, he had to put up with my constant walking, haha, sorry about that. Well, at least I didn't stop, right... There were lots of people at the track yesterday, lots of weird people too. There were people running in slippers, there were pilaks running but not in slippers, there were also babies running and of course, hairstick was running too. Hairstick is just some guy which, uhh, just fits his name, no need to go in detail about him. Let's just say you'd spot him quite easily.

To my failure, I ran, I mean really ran, for 1 round and walked another round. To make things worse, it began to rain, just a little bit. So I went home, by which I mean, walked home, dragging my legs like they were falling apart. And guess what? It poured! Gosh, I was only halfway home and it began to pour... How great... I was wayy too tired to run home, not that it would help much anyway. I had to walk home in the rain, which is not sad okay according to some people, just inconvenient and annoying and cold, really cold. Haha.

This is not a test, this is not a quiz either

When life give you lemons, you can:

A. Make lemon juice, according to stupid motivational books
B. Squirt juice in your enemy's eyes, according to It's Happy Bunny
C. Make shmango, if you happen to have kiwis, oranges, milk, sugar and ice cubes, according to Crystal and I

MAKE YOUR CHOICE!

In my case, I picked C and made shmango, which has a horrible lemon aftertaste. But still, it's quite okay, you can still live with it, I guess...

So the correct answer is C! Because there are two sides to everything, my side and the wrong one =)

I'm not a liar (I lied) =)

Have you listened to Miley Cyrus's's's (whatever) new song, 'I Can't Be Tamed'? If you haven't, don't listen to it! Lock yourself in your bedroom and hide under your bed. Don't forget to throw out any electronic or communication devices you own, because that song is out to get you, because she can't be tamed and she's out to get ya *glare*. So, get rid of all your electronics, yes, even the secret microwave in your closet that you use for midnight snacking, because you never know when your microwave would start playing songs, Miley Cyrus songs to be specific. Never ever listen to that song, you deserve to live happily (I lied) =)

Okay, the point is, we should all agree that Miley Cyrus can't be tamed *applause*, so stay away from her.

To all Miley Cyrus fans out there, I'm not sorry, haha =)

Saturday, May 15, 2010

Don't start fires unless you can put them out.

Nothing special today. As usual. Boring. Humid. Hot. Saturday.

I went jogging a few times this week. I went alone on Monday, with Joshua on Thursday, with Joshua and Crystal on Friday, cool. I guess I'm still not losing any weight *sigh* I'll go again next week and the next week and the next next week till FOREVER. I miss swimming, I wish I could go swimming some time... At the same time, I also miss bowling, which I practically have no time to do. That's so horrible!

I went to band practice today and heard a story about some guy who has lots of masks, figuratively of course, or he'd be a sick, sick person. Hmmm, and it got me thinking that it's pretty true, example(s) given (you don't need to know who, haha). Sometimes, even your closest friends are that way, and I guess I can't do anything about it, unfortunately. Well, I'll just watch by the side lines and watch you fall, again and again =)

Christmas all over again

So... Last Saturday was the Teacher's Day Celebration and I could watch it this year instead of doing something else that would occupy me when everyone is screaming and losing their heads because there were loud music and people dancing on stage trying to look cool. This year's celebration was pretty good, at least I could hear something that is not the shrieks and squeals and scream of crazy girls and guys who had missed their puberty (you know what I mean, wait, no you don't). You could say the program was interesting but it's been so long since I last watched the Teacher's Day Celebration so yeah, it was cool.

The books I ordered from Scholastic FINALLY arrived, after n! days (let's just say, a really really long time). They were like, a huge pile, and it totally felt like Christmas when I was 5 (that was just a metaphor). No more listening to the Joshua a.k.a President of Weird Sounds make weird sounds about being despo for his book, haha.

On another note, it rained really heavily yesterday and there was thunder echoing throughout the whole afternoon. And it gets better, it rained the whole night, great for sleeping! How I wish yesterday was a Saturday... *sigh*

Oh, and guess what? I'm back to blogging, if you haven't noticed that yet...

From now on, there will be no such thing as 'emos' or 'emo people'. There will only be stimulants, which are people who are overly excited and happy and makes you feel happy, in other words, euphoria inducing(TM). On the contrary, there are also depressants, which simply are people who are depressed and depressing to other people, suicidal and makes you want to commit suicide too, in other words, euphoria cancelling(TM). -Created by President of Awesomasia and President of Weird Sounds before doing the catwalk thing during PE class.

Goodnight, terrible terrible dismal world =)

Crossing the line(s)

I feel so horrible these few days, it's like my insides are starting to rot, okay, too much information. I'm like, feeling guilty and annoyed and mad all at the same time. Ugh, you cannot do this okay! I never agreed to anything, you cannot do this! Nilai kesederhanaan and nilai keterlaluan, know the difference! Okay, I'm done ranting... excuse me...

A is for Awful, B is for Bad, C is for Catastrophic

Let's see... Here are my test results:

Chinese     : Terrible
English      : Disappointing
Maths       : Disastrous
Biology     : Horrible
Physics     : Depressing
Sejarah      : Dismal

I guess that about sums it up... In conclusion, I did utterly horribly terribly disappointingly disastrously horribly depressingly and dismally. But I STILL haven't took my BM and Chemistry exam, I haven't even finished studying for them, I'm doomed, DOOMED I SAY!

On the good side, it finally rained today. The air was getting so polluted that I thought I was lost for a second there. Bush fires were spreading like mushrooms, even at night (what...).

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

What I learned in holiday tuition English class:
One. 'Skimming' and 'scanning' sound similar
Two. 'Vegetable' and 'fish' sound almost the same
Three. A swallow DOES NOT make a summer
Four. If you do not get enough oxygen, you WILL go to hell
Five. 'Helmet' and 'hermit' is pronounced exactly the same

How useful... I've never really seen English from this perspective

I'm gonna go for camp tomorrow, which I am totally unprepared for. I've got bunch of work just dying to get done, stuff to memorize, files to organize and that's not all. I'm completely freaking out and panicking! What's worse, I can't feel my nose, I don't even know if it's still there, wait, it's still on my face, I checked. This is so horrible, a running nose and a heavy head. Just great, so surreal...

Ï€ Day!

'Modular house and cabin for sale'
-Means: Do you want to buy a container to live in?

Yess!! I watched Alice in Wonderland yesterday!! And it was great!! The Mad Hatter was totally mad and the March Hare is even madder (is that even a word...)! Haha, okay, I'm just too excited. My group of 8 people just suddenly shrunk to 2 people since MOST of them couldn't come but what the heck, it was still really fun.

Due to distance restrictions, we had to go to CP to watch it, which by the way, was not a good idea. The cinema was freakin crowded, it was like Christmas all over again. There were long queues at every counter but the longest queue has got to be in the toilet, haha. I was lucky to be able to watch the movie in hall 8, which is the newest and largest hall. Unfortunately, it was a full house and I had to sit next to a bunch of hooligans who apparently would squeal over the sight of a rabbit. Pity them... they must never have seen a rabbit before...*sigh*

I'm so totally in love with Alice's hair, it's so pretty and wavy and curly all at the same time. The movie was really interesting to watch, it was filled with strange and eccentric characters, namely the White Queen, the March Hare, the Mad Hatter and so on. Well, if you watched it then you'll get it. I think the movie was 1 hour and 45 minutes long, long enough to not be a rip-off, haha. One thing about the movie was the background scenes that look reallyyy cool, I wonder how they did it. All in, Alice in Wonderland is utterly great!

Next up, Toy Story 3, Remember Me (I AM NOT A FAN OF ROBERT PATTINSON), Salt, Prince of Persia, LOVELY BONES and uhhh... more (not in chronological order XD).

HAPPY PI DAY!  HAVE SOME PIE! Haha

Exam fever, catch it!

Nope, it's -EXAM SEASON-
Extremely stressed out students, hair pulling and excessive screaming are normal sights during the exam season. Do not be alarmed.

Finally! Tomorrow will be the last day of the 1st mid term exams! And as usual, the *smart* faculty arranged moral to be the last subject, yeap, the same *smart* faculty that arranged biology and sejarah to be tested on the same day. Well, at least most of the stress is gone but then.... I still haven't took the exams for chemistry and BM... oh boohoo~ Guess I'm gonna have to spend my holidays studying for it, like I'm not busy enough... But I made the choice to postpone the exams so... hahaha, ironic.

So.... Tomorrow will be a Friday, the last Friday before the holidays, the very Friday which is the deadline for the SPM registration. Gosh, I still haven't made my choice for the two darned extra subjects! The clock is ticking and I gotta decide fast! Like what Homer Simpson would say: D'oh!

The Chronicles of an Optimist

Yesterday was a great day! I had BM penilaian yesterday, so I was up studying on Tuesday night. I went to bed at 11pm but somehow I woke up at 2am. Not wanting to waste time (yeah right...), I studied a little bit of the BM short story stuff. I was like, really sleepy, so I couldn't get much of the info into my brain. At least I got something into my head, I should be thankful for that. On the day of the penilaian, which is yesterday actually, I technically studied all morning but then I realized I haven't studied any of those (darned) peribahasa. And so... there I go walking from class to class asking everyone I know about the peribahasa that we need to study. Well, nobody knew... but at least I don't have to study for it anymore since I don't know what to read. Conclusively, the test was really hard but on the bright side, I'm lucky that I could even answer some of the questions. I had a mini heart attack when I looked at my watch and mistook the time as 1.45pm (the test ends at 1.50pm and I've only done half of the paper at that moment) when it was only 12.45pm, well, at least there's actually an hour left. I think I'm gonna pass this test *twitching*

Yeah right........ I'm obviously not an optimist

If an optimist had his left arm chewed off by an alligator, he might say, in a pleasant and hopeful voice, "Well, this isn't too bad.  I don't have my left arm anymore, but at least nobody will ever ask me whether I am right-handed or left-handed," but most of us would say something more along the lines of "Aaaaah! My arm! My arm!"

Book the Fourth

To Beatrice -
My love flew like a butterfly
Until death swooped down like a bat
As the poet Emma Montana McElroy once said;
"That's the end of that."

Book the Third

To Beatrice -
I would much prefer it if you were alive and well

(No content available =[  )

Book the Second

To Beatrice -
My love for you shall live forever
You, however, did not

Guess what, I bought a guitar today. Now I have another device and medium to express my tone-deafness(tm) and also to torment and inflict injury upon those who cross my bad-side.

But on another note, there goes my funds that I was supposed to use to get Lemony Snicket's Unauthorized Biography because I exceeded my budget for my Very Fretful Device (pun intended). Goodbye, I'll get my hands on that Lemony Snicket's Very Fascinating Directory (by that I mean the Unauthorized Biography) soon enough... *sob*

I'm sort of behind schedule (for reasons unspecified), so time for some random posts!

(If you don't get what I just typed, then just ignore it and go have a Very Fun Day or in my case, a Volatile Fireworks Display)

Book the First

To Beatrice -
Darling, dearest, dead

Happy Chap Goh Mei everyone! (Though I don't really know what Chap Goh Mei is for). While everyone might be having a decent, if not horrible, day, I just had an utterly annoying day.

For starters, the electricity was cut off the whole day (just morning and afternoon actually, but nonetheless...) since the SESB just had to change the cables on the one day I'm completely free. Ironically, my physics teacher was just talking the other day about how the workers in other countries could change their electric cables without shutting down the power for the whole district by wearing some sort of special protective cage-like suit, nice going.

Now I'm typing this in the middle of a war zone. Stuff are randomly exploding all around me and I think I just heard a machine gun go off. What a dismal situation. There's like loud exploding sounds, short and brief exploding sounds, crescendo-ing exploding sounds, machine gun shooting sounds (I wonder...), car alarms, people screaming, people laughing, people screaming at laughing people or vice versa, the sound of my SCREAMING brain etc.

Yay! Apparently, I think they just signed a peace treaty. Note to self - if I ever can drive, never stay home after dinner on Chap Goh Mei.

Moving images with different scenes and sound depicting a story

Clarinet outing! I went to watch Percy Jackson last Saturday with the whole clarinet section. Whee! It was so totally good, great. We couldn't fit into a single row at the cinema, haha. Darn cinema. Well, it was really fun though. We even saw Lady Gaga in the movie, haha, actually it was Medusa but she was wearing black glasses like on Lady Gaga's The Fame album cover and was covered in a black coat or probably a cloak, completed with a pair of black boots (if I remember clearly...). But nonetheless, it was really funny and in the next scene, poker face started playing in the background, oh the irony... I was like snickering and giggling and laughing and suppressing laughter all at the same time, haha. I have finally realized that I MUST GET THE PERCY JACKSON BOOKS!

I really should kick the habit of typing everything in drafts then not posting them for ages and eons. And this is my first step! Hahaha

I can't wait for March to arrive and the first mid terms to end and bring me a shower of awesome movies to watch! Alice in Wonderland is gonna be released on the 18th of March, which I wouldn't miss for anything in the world, I'd die if I don't watch it. And it just gets better, The Lovely Bones is also hitting the screens next month! Not sure about the date though... Yay, The Lovely Bones is finally coming to the screens in town! The book was so totally awesome, I couldn't put it down once I started, I even read it in a moving vehicle, which is something I don't usually do since I have a bad case of motion sickness. This is the beginning of a movie mania. Haha

That's about all I can think of at the present moment, I might think of something else to write 5 seconds later... Hmmm...

The 16th of February

-Did I just break you? Well, I heard something breaking... Sorry about that =] -

I went to Crystal's house for dinner just now, or you could say it was yesterday. I was 10 seconds late for ehem... something I would rather not see, haha. We played Dare or Dare (do I have a choice?), extreme version but still a little toned down of course. One of the tasks was to spread peanut butter on one of the victim's armpit and jelly on the other. Here come the gross part, next get two pieces of bread and wipe it off and EAT the sandwich, gross much... Haha, but of course sensible people wouldn't do that and we *are* sensible people (I think). There were lots of weird and gross tasks, like lick someone's ear, lick someone's whole face etc. Haha.

Then we had dinner and Tham was given the task to eat some condiment something from the kitchen something something, in short, he was supposed to eat something raw in the kitchen. But lucky Tham, there was a bowl of lettuce on the table, haha. And we played Wii till everyone went home.

(Okay... this post was once again delayed because I'm too lazy to click the Publish Post button. I typed this on 16/02/2010, 12am)

Paris Hilton's BFF is a loser

Haha, okay, maybe the title seems a little overrated but it's soo true...

I was watching Paris Hilton's My New BFF when a sudden thought occurred to me: I hate this show. It's such a wrong show, but what can you expect, she's Paris Hilton. Why should you compete to be someone's best friend, that's so wrong. Well, the usual line - Get a life. Haha

The sun still shines, unfortunately

Wiping off the layers of dust...

On the to sports day! Last Thursday and Friday was the sports day heats, and I could definitely feel the heat, literally.

Day One

As usual, the bazaar was held on the first day, and I really must say that the stalls...... have been decreasing over the years. I couldn't finish spending my money, haha, so I gave it away it Sabina. Clinton volunteered to pick up rubbish on that day and he found like, 20 something pieces of the lucky draw coupons. So he went to exchange it and we were standing right below the stage during the lucky draw session, it looked pretty funny, just like those people who bet at the horse racing. Crystal assigned herself to be in charge of the 'fish fishing with tissue' game (more like attempted murder of the fish by choking with tissue, water deprivation and lack of privacy and personal space). You're supposed to catch a fish using your extremely fragile tissue net (for reasons I don't think I will understand). Oh, the SPCA will be mad at this, they will be very very mad...

Day Two

No bazaar today, not interested in watching the events, in conclusion - nothing to do. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I joined the house dancing this year (I still don't get why I did that...). I burned my feet while running all the way from the 3rd floor of the CCA building to the volleyball court under the scorching 9am sun, barefooted. Note to self - Concrete can double as a teppan table during the day. I went to KK Box in the afternoon with some friends and did many stupid things along the way while waiting for the student promotion at 2pm. We passed through Signature while going to KK Box and found some *awesome* masks of Power Rangers and those 'superheroes' that look like flies. So we took pictures wearing them, hahaha. (Refer to Crystal's post, haha) We screamed our lungs and stomachs and whatever that is inside, out at KK Box. We tried to sing MJ's The way you make me feel and failed... One, MJ's songs are really hard to sing, haha, and two, they replaced the music video with a Malaysian version. It was so totally gross, there's this weird freaky girl wearing a BRIGHT pink singlet cat-walking around, for like, the entire length of the song. Now, who could stand watching that... haha. When we left, there's yet another weird guy at the counter who kept screaming, yes, screaming thank you to us. He kept yelling louder when we ignored him, what gives... Get a life (that is seriously my new catchphrase, haha, I kept saying it to everyone lately...)

Day Three

OH NO!!!! I TYPED THIS PART ALREADY!!! AND NOW IT'S GONE!!! IS THIS SOME SORT OF TEST??!! WHAT HAPPENED TO DAY THREE?! I EVEN SAVED IT TWICE! DARN IT!! I CLICKED PUBLISH AND THEY TOLD ME 'SORRY, WE ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS YOUR REQUEST' GAH!!! THIS IS SO NOT FUNNY!! *deep breathing exercises* Due to a technical problem, anyone who would want to know what happened is gonna have to use your imagination. Thank you.

I'm sorry, it didn't make it

Time to clean out the spiderwebs in here...

-Viewer discretion is advised if you have a great imagination-

Last Tuesday was the fateful Pig's Heart Dissection Day, I know it was THAT long ago but... oh well, I'm a 'slow' person. If I were to describe the dissection, I would use the words disturbing and disgusting... Gosh, I'm never gonna cut anything up like that anymore, not that I did. Thanks to my group having all guys except me, I didn't have to do any of the loathsome work of cutting, squeezing, poking and digging blood clots out. Okay, I can't take it anymore, on to the next post...
