10 minutes gone by typing this

My dog issue is finally solved. No, it doesn't mean they don't fight anymore, it's just that they fight in silence. Haha. They are really two big idiots, it's amusing to watch their weird antics. I just realized that they've got jealousy issues, haha.

Time really flies, it's already November 28th. School's gonna reopen in a month's time, which is 36 days to be exact, which is 864 hours, which is 51840 minutes and so on, but who's counting? Hahah. I'm not really looking forward to the school reopening, it just means there'll be lots of work to do and butts to study off. Haha. I'm still spending my holidays in a meaningless fashion, not doing anything worthwhile. I wish I could get a job, then I'd actually gain something out of all this wasted time.

I guess I don't really have anything to post about huh... Hahaha. I'll post again when I find something good to talk about...

Bori and Pooh, respectively

Okay, I think I have a traumatized puppy at hand. I didn't mention this before but three weeks ago, I got a puppy (technically, it's not mine but whatever). She's a really funny dog (yes, she), she stumbles alot and she'll chase the broom round and round in circles when my mom sweeps the floor, haha. So, yesterday, I got another puppy (how many do we need??!) and both of them are fighting like two lunatics. The other puppy is male but he sleeps alot, and I mean 23-hours-a-day kind of alot. He was whimpering and screaming and crying and yelling (or at least that's what it sounds like) all night because he was attacked, literally, and bitten by the other puppy. I should also mention that he's autophobic, and no, it doesn't mean he's afraid of cars or auto parts, it means he's terrified of being left alone. I just close the door for one moment and he'll be crying like it's the end of the world, and we're speaking of dogs in this case, haha. Well, I think he's now badly traumatized since he won't voluntarily go or sleep within 10 feet of the other puppy.

Another thing is I'm horribly terrified of dogs, seriously, mostly their saliva, eww... Oh no, I've got two puppies running loose in my backyard and I'm absolutely terrified of them. Which explains why I didn't break up the fight between the puppies. Dogs give me a rash... And there they go again, picking on each other like fleas...

What's on my mind, not yours

It might seem weird for me to post another entry 2 minutes after I posted one, but I have a perfectly valid reason for posting this post. I don't really like the updated editor which I use to compose my posts or entries or whatever you like to call them. The spacing is wayy too wide, everything looks so out of place. Or maybe I'm just weird, which in that case, you can skip this post. Haha. Goodnight everyone.

p.s. I mentioned the word 'post' 6 times in this post or entry or whatever, and including this sentence makes it 8. Just ignore me, my mind quite bumbled and fumbled and jumbled and mumbled at this moment.

An Epic Expedition

So, I'm back (though it's not like I left or anything), or 'out from prison' in someone else's context. I was actually at camp for the past three days which was Wednesday to Friday, find the date yourself, if you bother to... It's safe to say that this camp was one of the most unforgettable camps, ever. The B5 brass quintet flew over from Singapore to tutor the band and also to give an awesome recital, haha. Oh, and they're from Thailand by the way. They're really, REALLY good, and one of them is really, REALLY tall. Haha. Awesome.

Nothing important happened, or it's better to say nothing actually happened. Holidays still going on, without me as usual, but I'm pretty much used to it. The KL tour with the band is coming up, real soon, I'm still pretty blurry on many things. How am I gonna make it? Cross my fingers and hope I don't die. I didn't go for bowling training this week, I really hope I'm not back to square one again, again and again since the past few months. My class reunion (J3 Zhong 08') is on the coming Tuesday night. I didn't actually wanted to go since I'm feeling totally beat but I guess 'a twist of events' happened. Haha, or so you could say.

Does anyone think this post is confusing and weird? I kinda think so. Maybe it's because I need to rewire my brain again, and I'm really, REALLY tired and horribly down with the flu. Darn, showering with cold water on a rainy day with an open window, then walking in the rain, not a very good thing, especially when the water supply is limited.

Pointless much

Hmmm... I haven't posted in a while, well, not exactly. I don't have much stuff to blog about recently. For one thing, the holidays are officially here, as in senior one has ended. That's too bad, pity... I suddenly feel old, ugh, gotta shake that feeling... So now I'm just gonna recap on what happened since my last post:

Nothing happened

Seriously, this holiday is getting really boring. All I do is practice, bowl, practice, bowl some more and repeat the cycle all over again. I actually had a goal for this holiday, which is to write a story or essay or whatever, but it's still nowhere near completion. Haha. I thought of taking taekwondo lessons which my parents agreed but haven't started yet, maybe I never will. I think you get the idea of how boring my holidays are...

Out of luck, and also books

I think I just broke my all time record of blog updating speed, wow, I must have ran out of things to do. The inter-class bowling competition is now long over though it's just been 24 hours. It was fun watching my ball slide in the opposite way I meant it to, feeling the ball suddenly slip off my hand too soon and the best part was seeing my ball roll down the ditch, whee... No more talk about that, it's all over now, finally. Haha.

The finals for the Golden Mic competition was held at the school hall today. Too bad I didn't get to watch it one bit, or maybe it's not a bad thing, hmmm. Most of my friends told me it was so boring and everyone was falling asleep, haha, more like the Golden Lullaby instead of Golden Mic. Well, tomorrow's the Tshung Tsin Star finals. I don't have band practice on Tuesdays so I guess I'm gonna be stuck in the hall with everyone else. Just hope that it's not as bad as last year... *nightmares* I remember that I was hanging around the classroom when the competition was going on last year, didn't exactly figure out how I was able to do that with a group of friends... But I did went to the hall for about 20 minutes and saw 2 shows which made me leave, at top notch speed. Haha

One fine Sunday afternoon (it was yesterday and it's actually not fine at all, it was hot and humid), I got really bored, like really extremely over-the-top pure boredom bored. I was just sitting at home after the bowling competition, the Internet was down (AGAIN) so I was friend-less and Internet-less (as in web-less, hahaha, okayy, that was a terrible pun). Thank goodness I have one last book (WHAT, the last one?!), 'Outside Beauty' by Cynthia Kadohata, so I finished it in the afternoon. It's generally a book of mixed emotions, some parts just made me mad and some were pretty touching, but not tear-jerking kind of touching... Well, off to find 'The Time Traveler's Wife' that doesn't have a glossy cover. Haha.

Oooh, a nerdy post

I have finished reading Season of Secrets on Thursday night, finally. I kept putting it off since the few chapters in the beginning were a little boring but I made myself read it during the few hours which I was not able to sleep and the good stuff starting coming around the middle. It's a nice book but not as good as 'Ways to Live Forever' which is also by Sally Nicholls. I didn't really get the story at first, I kept thinking: what about him? what about her? so what the seasons are changing? But then I had a moment of epiphany, which I sort of get a lot nowadays, and the puzzle is complete! Haha.

Well, I TRIED to read the other two books I ordered, namely 'The Heartbreakers' and 'This Book is not Fat, it's Fabulous'. Note the word 'tried', which means I attempted to read them but they just didn't spark my interest and 'reading mind' so I quit after 10 pages. No offence to anyone but I sort of hate those two books... One of them had kissing all over the first chapter and I just don't get the humor of the other (was it trying to be funny? Or maybe not...). So because of this slight predicament, I started on 'Outside Beauty' by Cynthia Kadohata, which happens to be the LAST unread book in my cabinet, (besides the other two mentioned earlier), oh no... Popular is having a 20% percent discount on certain books for members, I must get 'The Time-Traveler's Wife'!!

Okay, so I guess this is gonna be a long post. Today I went to Citymall for a seminar (wow, that's rare). My friend invited me to go and I just thought: What the heck, I'll just go and sit there then. Who ever thought it was a seminar about sales and ways you can earn 300k a month ( I was kinda skeptic about it), at least I never thought it was... Well, anyone can tell I'm not a 'sales' kind of person and the lecturer said lots of sales terms which I just sat there and listened, searching my brain for the meaning of those words, information that I never found since it never existed. Haha, I don't think I'm cut out for the business world but who cares... As for the product we were 'supposed' to sell, it was actually some kind of bar (in simpler words, it's soap, without the soap's properties, huh...). I'm not gonna mention the name of it, since I'm pretty skeptic about everything... Haha.

Tomorrow's the inter-class bowling competition and I'm still sitting here blogging past midnight, I guess I really am a night-owl. I'm a little worried and nervous, more about not being able to find a ball that actually fits my hand than about the scoreboard. They really should make 9 and 10 pound balls for smaller fingers, whoever even gave them the idea that people who use heavier balls would have an insanely huge palm and large fingers. Sometimes they are just so unpractical, I could fit two thumbs into the thumb hole of a 14 pound ball, haha. I think I'd better go early so I could try ALL the balls, I must get the good ones! Haha.

I just thought of something interesting to post but I guess I'll save it for some other time. This is a really long post and I wouldn't want it to be as long as a novella, or even worse, a novel. Well, goodnight everyone!

Bowling has nothing to do with bowls

As most people should know, or not, my posts are usually a day late. Okayy, so that was just some random fact that isn't really important. And the post title has nothing to do with this post.

Yesterday was a Tuesday which makes it the-day-I-usually-go-bowling or simply said, bowling day. The inter-class bowling competition is right around the corner, a very tight corner, so I went with Tham, Vicky and Elsa to 'train'. We played 3 games at first but then it was addicting, haha, sounds so wrong, so we added another 3 games, and 3+3 is 6. I really should consider getting my own bowling equipment. CPS has really horrible equipment, and by that I mean absolutely terrible, awful and beyond your imagination. Some important things you should remember when going bowling there:

1. You MUST wear socks unless you want to get your feet decomposed inside the decomposing shoe. This could be lethal.

2. You MUST cut your nails before you go there, unless you like grime and would prefer them being in your nails than in the bowling balls.

3. You MUST NEVER put/ hold/ place/ rub the bowling ball anywhere near your clothes. If you would like to know where the ball has been and how long since it was last wiped, then by all means, go for it.

Tham was having troubles keeping his arm straight during the throw and we have devised the phrase 'Think Straight', haha, it sort of sounds wrong at the same time. Well, after the 6 games yesterday, I have won the prize of having sore arms and knees, oh goodie... So now I am just gonna hope I don't embarrass myself this Sunday and get this over with.

THIS IS IT

I went to watch 'This Is It' today at 1Borneo! It's a really long movie or behind-the-scenes look, whichever appeals to you more, about 2 hours long. It would have been a great concert if he had lived long enough to perform in it. Though, he seems kinda tired and exhausted during the rehearsals, pity... Well, it was totally awesome! Funny how the world all turned their eyes on MJ for all the wrong reasons. People can have a pretty wild imagination sometimes, especially the media. There was a video circulating on the web that shows MJ alive, being escorted out of a coroner's van, but the funny thing is you never got even a glimpse of his face... Hah, might be just another scam like the videos of his ghost moonwalking =.= What can I say...

So, I visited the (newly opened?) Harris Bookstore at 1Borneo while I was there. They've got lots of books, especially English fiction and literature, which is a good thing. Apparently, Popular Bookstore doesn't have enough books for me and most of them are weird. I saw an MJ unauthorized biography 'Unmasked' written by some guy named Ian Halperin who is (claims, is a more suited word) MJ's friend who predicted MJ's death. Come on, you could have or should have done something about it instead of writing a book about it now saying he was a goner... Oh, and I saw another book, it's more of a graphic or picture book, titled 'The Dangerous Alphabet'. It was written by Neil Gaiman, illustrated by some Grimly guy. Neil Gaiman is a really great author (he's the author of 'Stardust' but I didn't read that one), haha, his books are really interesting and they have their own charm. (Oh no, I'm speaking gibberish...) In conclusion, Michael Jackson totally rocks! and Neil Gaiman rocks too, in second place of course.
