Book the Fourth

To Beatrice -
My love flew like a butterfly
Until death swooped down like a bat
As the poet Emma Montana McElroy once said;
"That's the end of that."

Book the Third

To Beatrice -
I would much prefer it if you were alive and well

(No content available =[  )

Book the Second

To Beatrice -
My love for you shall live forever
You, however, did not

Guess what, I bought a guitar today. Now I have another device and medium to express my tone-deafness(tm) and also to torment and inflict injury upon those who cross my bad-side.

But on another note, there goes my funds that I was supposed to use to get Lemony Snicket's Unauthorized Biography because I exceeded my budget for my Very Fretful Device (pun intended). Goodbye, I'll get my hands on that Lemony Snicket's Very Fascinating Directory (by that I mean the Unauthorized Biography) soon enough... *sob*

I'm sort of behind schedule (for reasons unspecified), so time for some random posts!

(If you don't get what I just typed, then just ignore it and go have a Very Fun Day or in my case, a Volatile Fireworks Display)

Book the First

To Beatrice -
Darling, dearest, dead

Happy Chap Goh Mei everyone! (Though I don't really know what Chap Goh Mei is for). While everyone might be having a decent, if not horrible, day, I just had an utterly annoying day.

For starters, the electricity was cut off the whole day (just morning and afternoon actually, but nonetheless...) since the SESB just had to change the cables on the one day I'm completely free. Ironically, my physics teacher was just talking the other day about how the workers in other countries could change their electric cables without shutting down the power for the whole district by wearing some sort of special protective cage-like suit, nice going.

Now I'm typing this in the middle of a war zone. Stuff are randomly exploding all around me and I think I just heard a machine gun go off. What a dismal situation. There's like loud exploding sounds, short and brief exploding sounds, crescendo-ing exploding sounds, machine gun shooting sounds (I wonder...), car alarms, people screaming, people laughing, people screaming at laughing people or vice versa, the sound of my SCREAMING brain etc.

Yay! Apparently, I think they just signed a peace treaty. Note to self - if I ever can drive, never stay home after dinner on Chap Goh Mei.

Moving images with different scenes and sound depicting a story

Clarinet outing! I went to watch Percy Jackson last Saturday with the whole clarinet section. Whee! It was so totally good, great. We couldn't fit into a single row at the cinema, haha. Darn cinema. Well, it was really fun though. We even saw Lady Gaga in the movie, haha, actually it was Medusa but she was wearing black glasses like on Lady Gaga's The Fame album cover and was covered in a black coat or probably a cloak, completed with a pair of black boots (if I remember clearly...). But nonetheless, it was really funny and in the next scene, poker face started playing in the background, oh the irony... I was like snickering and giggling and laughing and suppressing laughter all at the same time, haha. I have finally realized that I MUST GET THE PERCY JACKSON BOOKS!

I really should kick the habit of typing everything in drafts then not posting them for ages and eons. And this is my first step! Hahaha

I can't wait for March to arrive and the first mid terms to end and bring me a shower of awesome movies to watch! Alice in Wonderland is gonna be released on the 18th of March, which I wouldn't miss for anything in the world, I'd die if I don't watch it. And it just gets better, The Lovely Bones is also hitting the screens next month! Not sure about the date though... Yay, The Lovely Bones is finally coming to the screens in town! The book was so totally awesome, I couldn't put it down once I started, I even read it in a moving vehicle, which is something I don't usually do since I have a bad case of motion sickness. This is the beginning of a movie mania. Haha

That's about all I can think of at the present moment, I might think of something else to write 5 seconds later... Hmmm...

The 16th of February

-Did I just break you? Well, I heard something breaking... Sorry about that =] -

I went to Crystal's house for dinner just now, or you could say it was yesterday. I was 10 seconds late for ehem... something I would rather not see, haha. We played Dare or Dare (do I have a choice?), extreme version but still a little toned down of course. One of the tasks was to spread peanut butter on one of the victim's armpit and jelly on the other. Here come the gross part, next get two pieces of bread and wipe it off and EAT the sandwich, gross much... Haha, but of course sensible people wouldn't do that and we *are* sensible people (I think). There were lots of weird and gross tasks, like lick someone's ear, lick someone's whole face etc. Haha.

Then we had dinner and Tham was given the task to eat some condiment something from the kitchen something something, in short, he was supposed to eat something raw in the kitchen. But lucky Tham, there was a bowl of lettuce on the table, haha. And we played Wii till everyone went home.

(Okay... this post was once again delayed because I'm too lazy to click the Publish Post button. I typed this on 16/02/2010, 12am)

Paris Hilton's BFF is a loser

Haha, okay, maybe the title seems a little overrated but it's soo true...

I was watching Paris Hilton's My New BFF when a sudden thought occurred to me: I hate this show. It's such a wrong show, but what can you expect, she's Paris Hilton. Why should you compete to be someone's best friend, that's so wrong. Well, the usual line - Get a life. Haha

The sun still shines, unfortunately

Wiping off the layers of dust...

On the to sports day! Last Thursday and Friday was the sports day heats, and I could definitely feel the heat, literally.

Day One

As usual, the bazaar was held on the first day, and I really must say that the stalls...... have been decreasing over the years. I couldn't finish spending my money, haha, so I gave it away it Sabina. Clinton volunteered to pick up rubbish on that day and he found like, 20 something pieces of the lucky draw coupons. So he went to exchange it and we were standing right below the stage during the lucky draw session, it looked pretty funny, just like those people who bet at the horse racing. Crystal assigned herself to be in charge of the 'fish fishing with tissue' game (more like attempted murder of the fish by choking with tissue, water deprivation and lack of privacy and personal space). You're supposed to catch a fish using your extremely fragile tissue net (for reasons I don't think I will understand). Oh, the SPCA will be mad at this, they will be very very mad...

Day Two

No bazaar today, not interested in watching the events, in conclusion - nothing to do. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I joined the house dancing this year (I still don't get why I did that...). I burned my feet while running all the way from the 3rd floor of the CCA building to the volleyball court under the scorching 9am sun, barefooted. Note to self - Concrete can double as a teppan table during the day. I went to KK Box in the afternoon with some friends and did many stupid things along the way while waiting for the student promotion at 2pm. We passed through Signature while going to KK Box and found some *awesome* masks of Power Rangers and those 'superheroes' that look like flies. So we took pictures wearing them, hahaha. (Refer to Crystal's post, haha) We screamed our lungs and stomachs and whatever that is inside, out at KK Box. We tried to sing MJ's The way you make me feel and failed... One, MJ's songs are really hard to sing, haha, and two, they replaced the music video with a Malaysian version. It was so totally gross, there's this weird freaky girl wearing a BRIGHT pink singlet cat-walking around, for like, the entire length of the song. Now, who could stand watching that... haha. When we left, there's yet another weird guy at the counter who kept screaming, yes, screaming thank you to us. He kept yelling louder when we ignored him, what gives... Get a life (that is seriously my new catchphrase, haha, I kept saying it to everyone lately...)

Day Three

OH NO!!!! I TYPED THIS PART ALREADY!!! AND NOW IT'S GONE!!! IS THIS SOME SORT OF TEST??!! WHAT HAPPENED TO DAY THREE?! I EVEN SAVED IT TWICE! DARN IT!! I CLICKED PUBLISH AND THEY TOLD ME 'SORRY, WE ARE UNABLE TO PROCESS YOUR REQUEST' GAH!!! THIS IS SO NOT FUNNY!! *deep breathing exercises* Due to a technical problem, anyone who would want to know what happened is gonna have to use your imagination. Thank you.

I'm sorry, it didn't make it

Time to clean out the spiderwebs in here...

-Viewer discretion is advised if you have a great imagination-

Last Tuesday was the fateful Pig's Heart Dissection Day, I know it was THAT long ago but... oh well, I'm a 'slow' person. If I were to describe the dissection, I would use the words disturbing and disgusting... Gosh, I'm never gonna cut anything up like that anymore, not that I did. Thanks to my group having all guys except me, I didn't have to do any of the loathsome work of cutting, squeezing, poking and digging blood clots out. Okay, I can't take it anymore, on to the next post...
